"I can use technology LED light to light my aquarium?

I've seen LED lights in the stores that give plenty of light and use very power.My tank little plant with real plants and I wonder if those LED lights cover the entire spectrum of light needed for plants to thrive.

I would not use LEDs for an aquarium planted. The light emitted is usually not beneficial for optimum growth of plants. I found a website online that specializes in all types of aquarium lights, http://www.aquariumlightsupply.com are currently having a huge sale.
