is green (pistachio course) good for cooking .. coz I did on the walls and want some advice?

I painted my kitchen pistachio apartments Painting light well after i came to know that green is not inappropriate to use the kitchen as it is depressing ... Is it true .. anyway it is too late to me .... And what color accents should go for .. I must put a wall paper border at the top ... and I dining room table where I have to put a lamp to color and type of light I have to go ... and for my living room i painted it a neutral color (mocha stripes) and my kitchen is next to the room .. as all apartment kitchens are ... so did ever any body color is green kitchen?

I heard green was good for kitchens, since what the colors of many foods are green. Some web page color. Anyway ... I like natural colors of green right now ... as burnt oranges and light chocolates. They match very well with that shade of green. My mom did her boyfriend for the whole house around it, and it was magnificent.
